Defying Gravity

Keith Urban's (KU's) CD "Defying Gravity" came out today! I cant tell you how excited I am about it! Of course I had to get it as soon as I could, which was before noon. This CD is different than any of his others. This CD is very profound. Falling in love, being brave, taking that step into the darkness. The whole CD is absolutely amazing! Here are a few of the words and what not.

I love Chris LeDoux! This song just snuck up on me and now I cant get it out of my head. It definately says a lot of what I want and what I want the future husband to say. One thing is for sure, he's gotta be tougher than the rest.

Empowerment

Faith Hill is an artists that I have loved since before she was well known like she is today. A lot of her music has made an impact on me.

This song is her first real hit, "Take me as I am." It is one of those songs that basically says that she's woman who knows who she is and isnt going to change herself for anyone. And all she needs from a man is someone who accepts her as she is. This song has a strong meaning for me. I want the same thing.

This next one is called "Me." Its got pretty much the same meaning as "Take me as I am." This is me and thats all there is.

Reflection back to the last time I really felt this way

Pain, yes that's what this is. The only other time I have felt this way was when I was about 15 I think. See I had a dog, my best friend, his name was Mack. When we put him down... it was the worst pain I had ever felt. Some may say that that was insignificant, but to me he was the only one I could count on no matter what. I heard this song not long after he left me. Here's the words.

The other day I was getting ready for the day, and had Windows Media Player on shuffle on all my country music (which is the majority of my music). This song came on, and really made an impact. Brought me some peace actually.
