I heard this song on my drive the other night. It wasnt the first time I had heard it, but it hit me different. With everything that has been going on lately, the words of this song brought me so much comfort not to mention tears to my eyes. Not only can I see my dad saying these words, but I can see my Heavenly Father saying it. Despite the fact that I have messed things up, my dad (both earthly and heavenly) loves me and still wants me to come home. I love this song

"Friends in Low Places" has to be one of my favorite songs ever. Its a classic "You suck, see ya" song. The 3rd verse is the best part, its one that doesnt play on the radio. Actually the only time I have ever heard it is on the live album. Love this song!

Escape Together 2009

On Wednesday September 9, I went to a Keith Urban concert. It was absolutely amazing! This was my 4th concert of his. The concert was at the Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City. Our seats were in the lower bowl, 16th row, 2 sections away from the stage. The concert opened with Little Bigtown. They were great! Keith came out and we all went crazy! Our seats were SO close! Here are some pictures from the concert.

Defying Gravity

Keith Urban's (KU's) CD "Defying Gravity" came out today! I cant tell you how excited I am about it! Of course I had to get it as soon as I could, which was before noon. This CD is different than any of his others. This CD is very profound. Falling in love, being brave, taking that step into the darkness. The whole CD is absolutely amazing! Empowerment

Faith Hill is an artists that I have loved since before she was well known like she is today. A lot of her music has made an impact on me.

This song is her first real hit, "Take me as I am." It is one of those songs that basically says that she's woman who knows who she is and isnt going to change herself for anyone. And all she needs from a man is someone who accepts her as she is. This song has a strong meaning for me. I want the same thing.

Reflection back to the last time I really felt this way

Pain, yes that's what this is. The only other time I have felt this way was when I was about 15 I think. See I had a dog, my best friend, his name was Mack. When we put him down... it was the worst pain I had ever felt. Some may say that that was insignificant, but to me he was the only one I could count on no matter what. I heard this song not long after he left me. Here's the words.

Keith Urban. He's an AMAZING artist! Not to mention the fact that he is smokin hot! Yes, he is 20 years older than I am. But as of late, he is the one man I can count on. Goodbye? Is that what needs to happen? The more I think about it, the more it make sense to just say "Goodbye" at least for now.
